Baimashan #5 [May it never end!]

I hate to begin with a picture somewhat out of focus--but so be it! I've begun several of my alphabetical remembrances of Beimashan with different species of this genus, and had to include this one.

I could go on and on about each picture--but hope they will speak for themselves. I have a whole other day's worth of shots from up there--but these five blog posts ought to suffice to convince you that this pass must be one of the world's hot spots for choice gems And how many other passes are there waiting to be explored? One lifetime is nowhere nearly enough. Happy holidays!
