Spring cometh finally!

Sanguinaria canadensis 'Multiplex'

A smattering of the plants popping up all around my garden in the last few weeks: hard to keep up with them. I believe we've had the snowiest April in Colorado's history, and almost 2" of rain. I have never seen the tulips bloom so heavily. Or the daffodils. Not much commentary--pix speak for themselves I hope!

Primula auricula

Anemone x lipsiensis

Paeonia tenuifolia

Erythronium 'Pagoda'

Synthyris stellata

Arabis carduchorum

Draba bruniifolia (ex Bolgar Dag)

Arctostaphylos x coloradoensis

Iris cf. pumila

Erysimum amoenum

Trillium nivale

Colchicum soboliferum

Corydalis kusnetzovii

Primula woronowii

Erythronium umbilicatum

  1. Glad Spring has arrived. Something about those early Spring blooms that are so uplifting. I really enjoyed your talks at the Calgary Horticultural Show last weekend. Am looking to source andtrial many of your recommended plants.
