Fatidicism....

I suspect I made up that word: I am not overly fatidic. but I copied below the fateful number that I just saw when I checked my blog:

Surely there is a profound significance when I happen to glimpse my blog when it is RIGHT AT six ones in a row?

 

One is the loneliest number? Elevenses. But gradually the concept begin to seep in that there have been a lot of people who are stumbling upon or actively following my blog.

 

I imagine you: my brothers and sisters of the soul--across the globe, some at your desks, some at tables or lounging on a bed with I-pads, and dropping in now and again to see what crazy Greek-American from the steppes of the West is up to.

 

Thank you for doing so. I imagine the numbers saying "I won, I won, I won": you have shared some of the insights, fragments, splinters, glancing images of my life, and granted me the contemporary equivalent of immortality: an instantaneous connection in you in the present!
